Marissa Billowitz is an accomplished senior-level professional with twenty years of experience in local and global non-profit and academic organizations. Marissa has extensive experience in gender and sexual and reproductive rights strategy design and implementation, with a focus on ensuring the integration of human rights and gender transformative approaches in health programs, particularly for adolescents. She has a background in the study of social movements, and has supported the capacity building and funding of feminist and LGBTQI organizations. With experience supporting programs and partners throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as South Asia and Southern Africa, Marissa's skills include strategic planning, capacity building and training, curriculum development, and qualitative research and evaluation. She holds a Master’s degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University.
